A Note and Request

to Webmasters and Site Owners

Greetings

We, at Canku Ota, are very pleased that you have taken the time to read this note.

We have a few, minor issues that prompted us to write this note.

First, if you notice any hiccups, snafus, errors, etc., we would very much appreciate your feedback so we can correct the problem as soon as possible. Just drop us a note via e-mail. Help us out and we will try to do the same for you.

Second, we are flattered when we discover a site that has chosen to include a link to us.

  • We would appreciate it if you would take the time to inform us when you link to us.
  • We would also suggest that that link is to our home page rather than to a specific article or page.

We publish a new issue every two weeks and we have tried to make it easy to navigate within the site. However, it might be a little more difficult if one enters the site through something other than the home page.

  • We would be happy to consider a reciprocal link.

As you may have noticed, we provide annotated links. We like to give our users some idea of what they will find on a site should they choose to go there. We would be happy to use your statement of your site's purpose or content. Here is ours ...

"Canku Ota" (Many Paths) is an e-zine for and about Native America ... the native people of North America ... Native Americans, Alaskan Natives, and First Nations People. It is a celebration of the traditions and cultures of these wonderfully diverse people.

  • We have a logo! Please feel free to use it if you wish.

Lastly, we have sought, and received, permission to re-publish many copyrighted articles. Please respect those copyrights. These writers and publications have been very generous. We asked for permission and it was granted. You can do the same. Generally, we provide a link to the original article on the by-line.

Again, thank you for your interest,

Paul Barry
