In this issue, we offer some sites to help with homework, lesson plans, and even career building.

Communication Skills Writing Program
Students and Professors at Northern Illinois University put together this site as a resource for students, instructors, and tutors in the Writing Skills Lab, but the writing tips presented here are valuable to any student or teacher of writing.
This site content has varied fun learning activities for kids ages 2 to 12 in many areas -- from art to reading to science.

BLS Career Information
It's never too early to begin thinking about a career. This site is aimed at helping elementary students explore the possibilities. Students click on their area of interest to learn about specific occupations and find information about careers in those fields.

Kindle Park
For a wonderful journey into the colorful world of family learning, check out Kindle Park! This interactive site offers hours of engaging educational games, stories, and videos for pre-schoolers and their parents or teachers. Even the download wait is entertaining because of a simple game of catch a letter or number.

The Solution Site
The Solution Site has a database of unit plans for every major subject area. Users can search the database by grade level, subject area, standards, and keywords. Each unit has five lesson plans that include cross-curricular activities and an assessment rubric aligned to national standards.

Dewey to the Rescue
All you ever wanted to know about organizing "information on any topic under the sun" is right at your fingertips. This multimedia tour, done in Flash, allows the user to sit back and enjoy the show.
