Breaking Down the Walls
Differences are GOOD!

Accepting and understanding other cultures is something that everyone needs to learn. This is especially true since the attacks in New York on September 11, 2001. Did you know that some Arab-American kids were treated badly and bullied because they looked like the small number of terrorists behind the attack? That's wrong! Just because you look like someone doesn't mean you'll act like them.

Personal Best
Training, training, training is what it takes to become a winning team. But training doesn't mean running flat-out all the time. Rather, a smart runner working with an experienced coach will run hard one day, easy the next, allowing time for recovery and muscle growth. This makes it difficult for a coach to know whether each runner is making steady progress.

Why is My Loyalty Questioned?
"Why is My Loyalty Questioned?" has been asked by people different times during America's history. They're surprised that others might wonder if they are loyal to the country that they choose to live in and have always loved and supported. After the attack on Pearl Harbor during World War II, Japanese Americans were discriminated against as they were put into relocation camps simply because of the ethnic background. Later, they proved their loyalty by volunteering to defend America, the very country that mistreated them.
