Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred. College counseling experience at the high school level and/or college admissions level is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, communication and writing skills, an ability to work well with students, their families and the entire YES staff, a high threshold for stress and a tireless commitment to excellence in all endeavors. YES College Prep is particularly interested in recruiting individuals from

Position Announcement: Assistant/Associate Professor, Rehabilitation Counseling
Application Deadline: 03/15/2004

The Center for continuing Education in Rehabilitation is part of the Department of Human Services and Rehabilitation within the Western Washington University Woodring College of Education. The Center provides continuing education to rehabilitation personnel in the states of Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. In addition to the MA in Rehabilitation Counseling degree program, the Center houses both the general and the community rehabilitation program RRCEP's, a Rehabilitation Leadership Institute, a Native American rehabilitation program, and a distance learning project. Currently, sixteen individuals work within the Center.

CCER offices are located in Mountlake Terrace, Washington, a suburb just north of Seattle. The main campus of Western Washington University is in Bellingham, approximately 80 miles north of the CCER offices.

Direct a CORE accredited master's level training program; Teach graduate courses in rehabilitation counseling; Advise students; Administer the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) long-term training grants; Engage in creative and scholarly pursuits, including grant writing

An earned doctorate in rehabilitation counseling or closely related field; Must be certified rehabilitation counselor; Minimum of two years experience teaching graduate level rehabilitation counseling courses; Demonstrated success in obtaining and managing federal grants; Experience providing direct service to persons with disabilities

Call to Artists for AISES Annual National Conference,
deadline 04.16.04

AISES is holding its 26th Annual National Conference in Anchorage, Alaska, November 11-14, 2004 is and is seeking artwork that reflects this year's theme, "Expanding Our Circle". The selected artwork will be used on National Conference materials including the Conference program, t-shirts, conference bags, and other materials. Artwork will appear on the cover of the Conference program with the artist's bio included within.

Please submit artwork digitally for consideration no later than close of business April 16, 2004.

Artwork may be multicolor but should easily convert to one color. Preferred formats are: .pdf, .jpg or .gif files.
