Tuba City School District Names New Primary Princess |

Each contestant was required to have good role modeling skills in both academics and community affairs. Princess Charmaine, Navajo, is the daughter of Claudia and Ned Yellow, her maternal clan is Bit’alanii, her paternal clan is Lo’kaa’ dine’e’. Her royal court: Second Runner up: Skylar Amanda Tso, Navajo, Kindergarten, the daughter of Rosina and Manuel Tso, maternal clan is Ta’baahi’, and paternal clan is A’shiihi’. Winning prizes were given by the NLI Instructors for the Primary school, coordinated by Vida Hatathlie, and flowers for each winner was provided by last year’s princess, Erin Castillo and her family. Since winning this contest, all three contestants have participated in the Western Navajo Nation Fair parade and also gave a presentation at the recent Behavorial Health Red Ribbon Week.
